GoldenSource Corporation, a leading provider of Enterprise Data Management (EDM) solutions, will be speaking at the North American Financial Information Summit 2011. At 11:20am EDT, Stephen Engdahl, SVP of product strategy at GoldenSource, will share his views and experience on the subject, alongside financial institutions.
"Pending regulations and the establishment of the Office of Financial Research (OFR) has created a state of flux within the industry. Institutions are unsure what exactly will be required of them in the near future, but they recognize that they must change their approach to data management in order to comply," states Engdahl. "Fellow panelists and I will explore key issues and implementation strategies that institutions must understand in order to achieve data management success." The panelists will discuss best practices with data integration and downstream systems, implementation methodologies and the tradeoffs of smaller-scale projects versus "enterprise" projects, as well as data policies, principles, and ownership.
