FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: IBM SIS offers a range of middle and back office processing services for Canadian securities clients and is expanding its offerings to address the business drivers which face the industry today. The new platform will deliver solutions via a modern Service Oriented Architecture and GoldenSource EDM suite, a trusted data standard for the securities industry. IBM has licensed the GoldenSource EDM Suite as part of its new solution, which will assist clients in addressing operational efficiencies, and the need to incorporate new products and services in response to market requirements. As well, IBM will broaden the scope of its offering to appeal to a wider section of the Canadian financial services marketplace allowing for the introduction of new product and service offerings. * * *
